Licensing
Framework
A structure that rewards the work as it performs. Every Alimaj Textiles license is built on four commitments. They protect the work, clarify the partnership, and ensure that both parties benefit in proportion to the success of the designs in the market.
Four commitments.
One standard.
A structure for every ambition.
Six tiers scaled to the scope and volume of your operation. Each reflects the commercial value the work generates at that scale — from independent makers to global brands.

Licensing rates are benchmarked against published industry data. Textile and fashion IP licensing commands 10%–15% of net sales as the professional standard across the creative industries. Illustrative example — Mid-Market Commercial License: License fee $4,500 · 10,000 units produced · $85 retail · $850,000 gross revenue · $85,000 royalty at 10% net = $89,500 total earned on one design. How the work
earns over time.
A royalty is a percentage of the net sales generated by products featuring a licensed Alimaj design, paid quarterly for the duration of the agreement. The design performs. Both parties benefit proportionally.
“Original work commands its own market. Alimaj Textiles does not compete on price or volume. It competes on originality, craft, and cultural authenticity. The pricing reflects that.”
